VBIT ,Sponsored by Swami Vivekananda Educational Trust (SVET) is the place where opportunities are provided for students to realize their ambitions, where new ideas are born, where innovative projects materialize, and where students excel in learning.
Founded in 2004 by highly qualified people, Vignana Bharathi Institute of Technology emerged as a hub for engineering excellence. At VBIT, students will discover engineering in a different light. Students will experience an engineering education that is on par with the industry requirement.
The sprawling 10.2 acre campus has state-of-the-art teaching facilities to train students in emerging technologies. The college is located about 18 kms from Uppal on the Warangal Highway.

It was one of the best colleges I had ever seen before joining,sadly I haven't visited many !!
It welcomes everyone but only few people who are self-motivated and have a strong desire for success are able to gain the most of the college.
I wish you luck if you are one of them,I pity those who are not . End of the day it depends on who you are and what you can do but not what college it is.

In our collage overall rating is good not awesome because when compared to other collages some aspects or needs should be not enough to run the collage.so improve the collage with more blocks

- Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has sanctioned a project titled “A Study of Variations in Total Electron Content (TEC) / Scintillations and Integrated Water Vapour (IWV) using Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Receiver” under RESPOND programme. The duration of the project is three years at a total outlay of Rs. 31.87 lakhs.
- ISRO has evolved a programme through which financial support is provided for conducting research and development activities related to Space Science, Space Technology and Space Application to academia in India. This programme of Research Sponsored by ISRO is called RESPOND. The aim of RESPOND is to encourage quality research in areas of relevance to the Indian space programme. RESPOND (Sponsored Research) programme started in the 1970s aims at encouraging academia to participate and contribute in various space related activities. Under RESPOND; projects are taken up by universities/academic institutions in the areas of relevance to Space Programme.
- IEEE-VBIT SB Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity group has received “2015 WIE Student Branch Affinity Group of the Year Award” from IEEE Women in Engineering chair for the academic year 2015-16.
